Why I’m different than other services…
Online stock services are just
NOT UNIQUE &
NO PERSONALIZATION.
Stock Logos, Logo Makers, Online Marketplace Services & more!
Cheap stock logos have flooded the internet now for years. And, logo makers or design makers such as Canva are all the rage because they are convenient and inexpensive.
You can purchase stock logos from places like Etsy or a slew of online companies that don’t offer logo uniqueness. You could have the very same logo as another company and you won’t know because stock logo companies may not stop offering that stock logo for purchase just because you bought it.
And yes, you can easily open up Canva online and create your logo or marketing pieces for print or social media, but why? If you are on my website, it is most likely because design is not in your wheelhouse nor do you want it to be. And, handing it off to the sales team or an assistant doesn’t change that it isn’t in their wheelhouse either, nor is it their job.
So why waist time fussing and stressing over something that will eventually create absolutely no consistent brand identity, will look disjointed, and only pretend to look professional when there is no long term vision.
And what about online marketplaces like Crowdspring? You do get many, many logo concepts from independent designers all over the world, but with no personal interaction or a full research of your brand outside of the logo.
Yes, these options are the absolute cheapest way to go, the quickest, and most convenient, but is that going to really grow your company and make it profitable over time? No! Going this way will eventually lead you back to where you were before, needing to hire a branding designer to create your brand.
Many FREELANCE DESIGNERS
CAN BE ALL OVER THE PLACE.
WHERE IS THE VISION? THE GOALS?
A Freelance Graphic Designer
With thousands of independent graphic designers, how do you decide who to hire?
Many freelance designers are talented, but can be what I call, “YES Designers”. Saying “yes” to any project while not analyzing if it’s best for their set of skills. They may say “yes” just to get a paycheck, to gain experience, or a chance to just create art. They will most always be glad, at the beginning, to dive in and come up with design concepts for you.
But….soon they fail to help guide the long-term vision and design process and get overwhelmed and their client frustrated. I’ve seen it too many times, clients coming to me because their original designer couldn’t take their brand where it needed to be. These designers may be skilled or not at all, but either way, they lack the marketing or strategy business background to know how to ask the right questions or don’t feel they even need to ask questions at all.
“What is your vision and goals, short-term and long-term?”
“How is your company positioned among others in the marketplace?”
“Who are your ideal customers?”
“What appeals to your target market?”
“What’s your business about and what connects that to your brand’s design?”
“How are other areas of your branding, other than your logo, working?”
These are important questions and not just any freelance graphic designer is a good fit for your project. You need someone who can help you create the overall vision for your company, from a marketing and business perspective, not just design you a piece of art.
